Terry and America
America Corrales is the youngest of six children born in Culiacán, Sinaloa. America spent her childhood by her mother’s side, and much of that time was spent in the kitchen.
America was preparing meals for her four older brothers and sister as early as nine years old. America moved from Culiacán at the age of fourteen after her mother passed and lived with her oldest brother Ricardo and sister-in-law Claudia.
In 1999 America met her future husband who has 16 years restaurant experience. After nine years of eating all of the great food prepared by America, they finally did what they talked about for those nine years. The dream came alive when they opened America’s Taco Shop “The Home of the greatest Carne Asada in the Valley!”
